Sightseeing in Singapore...(3)

My ex-coworker has been asking why I chose this country for sightseeing. I told him that the most important reason is language. People live in Singapore usually speak two languages, English and Mandarin. If I can not talk to the local residents in English, I may have the alternatives.

Singapore is not a big country, but well-known for her economic power in the world. Why does she has such influence on world market? Part of reason is her tourism and economic policy , I think.

Sightseeing in Singapore...(2)

After I had read the guide book, I knew the first thing that I had to do, contacted a travel agency.

I do not suggest you which travel agency is the best, 'cause you will never know if you can meet such a good salesman as I did. But I will tell you the details that you have to know when you contact with a travel agency.

First, you have to read some travel guide book as I did.
Second, decide your routes and hotels.
Third, tell the agency what you need.
4th, compare the prices and choose the suitable one.
5th, make sure your reservations are no problem.
6th, pay the fee in your agency's office and check all stuffs that they have to give you.

Sightseeing in Singapore...(1)

It was about five years ago, my first experience to plan the oversea-tour schedule by myself. As a country with Mandarian and English being her official languages, I think Singapore is good for Taiwanese to visit.

Actually, it was not easy to make the schedule, because I did not have such experience before. First, I had to find some informations via the internet. Unfortunately, there were not enough stuffs that I need on the internet at that time, so I had to try the other ways. Finally, I found a guide book that was very good and with so many informations in it.
